What the vehicle is doing wrong.
Servicing and repair, the mileage record, tractors and mowers, and what we are not.
Ordinary workshop work on cars and vans up to three and a half tonnes. You get a price before we start, and if the job turns out to be bigger than the quote we stop and phone you rather than finishing and presenting the bill. Replaced parts are kept so you can see what actually came off the vehicle. A diagnosis describes what we found on the day: it is not a prediction that nothing else will fail next month.
What the vehicle is doing wrong.
What is actually wrong with it.
Agreed before anything starts.
Written up, parts available.
The actual odometer, on arrival.
As the law requires.
Added to the vehicle's history.
A record that stands up.
Every professional intervention has to have its mileage transmitted, and that stream of readings is what produces the document a seller must give a private buyer. A second-hand sale without it is void, which is a severe consequence by the standards of consumer law. The flip side matters to you as an owner: a thin history is a signal to the next buyer, so a car serviced outside the professional circuit arrives at resale worth less.
A separate registered activity and a different rhythm of work: machines that sit for months and then have to start on the morning somebody needs them. Servicing before the season beats recovery during it, by a wide margin and at a lower price. The same rules apply as on the car side, which means a quote before work, a phone call before exceeding it, and the old parts kept where you can look at them.
What it is and how it is used.
Before the season, ideally.
Quoted and agreed.
Run before it goes back.
Named before you book.
To whoever holds the certificate.
Authorised collection only.
Honest about how new we are.
We are not an approved vehicle inspection centre, so nothing we do replaces or anticipates the periodic roadworthiness inspection and nothing we say certifies a vehicle as roadworthy. Work on air-conditioning involving fluorinated refrigerant gases needs specific certification and gets referred unless we hold it. Waste oils, filters, batteries and tyres go through authorised channels. And the company was formed in 2023, which we would rather state than imply otherwise.
Tell us what it is doing and we will tell you what it costs.
